The South Puget Sound Chapter generally meets once a month on Fridays, at various locations.

We met on June 24 for a social function at The Melting Pot in Tacoma. We had an awesome time and enjoyed an excellent meal. We also met on July 18th at The Sizzler in Lakewood, WA. Theda Yandell, WSPA President and litigation paralegal with Forsberg & Umlauf, was our speaker. She discussed Managing Discovery in Complex Litigation and provided a lot of helpful information for our members about organizing and coding discovery in large cases.

On August 19 we had our First Annual Summer BBQ and Potluck at Owens Beach at Point Defiance Park .

On October 21st  we celebrated Oktoberfest at the Swiss Pub in downtown Tacoma.

Our 4th Annual Holiday Celebration was December 9.

Please check the calendar frequently for updated information about meeting dates, times, locations, and topics of discussion.  For the tentative 2006 Schedule, click here.

WSPA is looking to fill several committee vacancies. If you want to get more involved in the organization, this is a great opportunity to step up and fill a role. Some positions require more time commitment than others, but there is something for everyone! Please contact Jillian Lambing to share your ideas and suggestions.

We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming meeting!
