The WSPA Annual Paralegal Student Dinner is a "Can't Afford to
Miss It!" Event!
Join us January 25th for a great evening of
enrichment and information designed to help you prepare for entrance
into the paralegal profession. Learn about opportunities and job
attributes from currently practicing paralegals working in a wide
variety of legal specialty areas including bankruptcy, criminal
law, marketing communications, and litigation. Gain practical job seeking
tips from a legal department HR Administrator. Learn
vital Job Interview Skills from experienced Placement Agency personnel. Attendees may even go home with one of several nifty door prizes to be awarded. Enjoy
a delicious meal with many of your fellow paralegal school classmates while learning keen insights from some of the best in
the Profession!
Students will discover some of the Do's and Don'ts about Resume Writing and preparing
Cover Letters in our Resume Workshop. Selected presenters will be available on a first-come, first served basis to individually review your own personal resume
(up to 5 minutes per person) and make concrete suggestions you can then use to improve its effectiveness. Attendees will also be provided with the presenters’ commentary
to assist students with their job search efforts. Don’t
forget to bring a copy of your resume to take advantage of this
unique workshop! (Resume review is limited to the time specified and includes only
one review per attendee. This activity alone is well worth the price of admission.)
